Telling our friends that we were going to Egypt garnered the same response as when we went to Israel...is it safe to travel there and why are you going?

Today we fly out of Frankfurt, Germany as we make our way towards Egypt through Cairo. This video is our first thoughts on Egypt, what it was like going through the Cairo airport and our reactions to seeing the Pyramids for the first time!

We have had the Great Pyramids of Giza on our bucket list since before we could write bucket lists. This has been a dream of ours since we were kids and we cannot wipe this smile off our face...also who knew you could enter a secret chamber and explore inside the tombs of the Pyramids?

We jumped on the First Class Sleeper train from Cairo To Aswan (12 hour over night train ride). If you are interested in what the Cairo railway station is like, the dinner and breakfast food they provide, we give a full tour of the Watania Train express aka - the best train in Egypt.

Trying Egyptian Food in Cairo - it's our second day here in Cairo, Egypt and we thought we would head on out to try some of the local Egyptian and Middle Eastern Food.

To get our pallet ready we tried Ma'An Sulta (Salad water), before getting some prickly fruit from a street food cart. We then headed to Felfela, a famous restaurant here in Cairo to have some Turkish coffee, Shorbet 'ads (lentil soup), baba ganoush (eggplant dip), ful, besara and Betinjan Maqli.

On the way to our next restaurant we tried arabic coffee for the first time, hibiscus juice as well as some white Egyptian Sobia drink before trying some home cooked Bamya.

Before we tried the most famus Egyptian dish, we had some Baskote Yansoon as we made our way towards the end of downtown to try Koshari...I am not sure how we had space for desert but managed to squeeze in Konafa, Basbousa and more...we are officially full!

We have arrived in Aswan and our goal for the night is to try and survive the Egyptian Markets / souk. We show you what it's like to haggle prices, when it's time to leave and generally how safe the markets are before jumping onto the nile to have a traditional Nubian dish here in Aswan.

One of our favourite days so far in Egypt as we begin our overnight Egyptian Felucca boat cruise on the Nile from Aswan to Luxor. We sleep out in the stars, have a local Nubian house visit...but first of all we started nice and early at 3am to see the Best Egyptian temple so far...Abu Simbel the temple for Pharaoh King Ramases the 2nd.

Guys! It's so sad to be leaving Egypt! This has been such a memorable trip for us, honestly one of our favorites - thanks so much for your support on this series you have absolutely blown us away!!

In this final episode we head to the most famous cemetery in the world...the Valley of the Kings to see King Tutankhamun and King Ramases tomb before heading off to see grandest temple of them all...the Temple of Karnak.

Finally we end our time with some fun in the sun at the Red Sea in Hurghada before making our way back to Cairo to leave Egypt :(
